Simple question. Given we have FPTP and not PR we are looking at Labour or Tories as the next government. Which would you choose?
I've answered this before now.

Neither.

Its like asking whether I want a kick in the bollocks or a punch on the nose.

I dont think that's any surprise. People aren't voting on a party's foreign policy almost ever.

What Starmer's complicity in genocide will have done is to sicken party workers - who exclusively come from the left - and made them more unwilling to get out there on the knocker for his party.

Also, it'll provide no grass roots base for the party to turn to when the going gets tough in government. There'll be no strong will to keep discipline in the media and guts out the inevitable media attacks on Starmer's Tories once the official Tories have sorted themselves out again.

But if you have to choose one? Not having a government is not an option. So if you had to pick one which would it be? I’d rather be kicked in the bollocks for example. I would rather neither is going to happen but if one definitely is then that’s my choice.

On your last point, I was at a wedding recently and a Tory MP was there. I didn’t speak to him myself as I didn’t think I would able to be civil and I’ve always thought he was a bit of a bell before he was an MP. I think most people there kind of thought the same. But one of my good friends did speak to him and his opinion was that they will lose (not a shock) and then the next leader will be Cleverley or Badenoch. This is obviously just his opinion but if it’s either of them the Tories will not be sorting themselves out anytime soon.

The Tories won't go with damaged goods like Cleverly. Badenoch sounds thick to me. I can't see them going for her.

They'll go the next generation of MPs coming through.

One thing those monsters are good at is winning elections and making the right choice (Hague, IDS and Truss were appalling like) on who should lead.
