Why don't the right do that? It was tried before with Williams and Jenkins, remember? That's why I see them as parasites.
But the right aren't complaining about being taken over and constantly bellyaching about how everything is against them. I'd just leave them, start a new party. As you say, politics and society has changed. Start a party to meet that need. Surprised Corbyn hasn't tbf.

Personally, I think the reason the left don't leave is because they probably know the unions won't follow. Ultimately the unions want influence and to influence power. Going all in with Monmentum and the ilk destroys any chance of that.

Faustian pacts all round.

Believe me I've been calling for the withdrawal of union funding for many a year. I'd actually scuttle the party too. For, as you call it, all my bellyaching, these snake oil salesmen plotted to undermine the 'democratic' process of this country, in tow with people like Murdoch. How does that sit with you? Not a flinch, because there are no principles attached, and if you're happy with that and aligning with warmongers and frauds, good for you.
Sorry my 'bellyaching' has upset you, as Tony Blair will say on his death bed having converted after killing so many children on a lie, mea culpa. ✊🏻

It's also perhaps worth noting that the circulation of the Morning Star is around 10,000.

Oh dear, you're going down the I'm more moral than you path. I am sorry if you've taken the last post personally. All I am arguing is that for true change to come it isn't going to be achieved via sitting in the corner shouting because you can't get your way or by being a protest party.

Corbyn was an absolute numbskull mouthing off that he was going after the Murdoch press. A field day for them. Got to be smarter than that. Of course they're a problem, but going in like that doesn't help.

Not more moral, but perhaps I hold my principles a lot closer. Might be an age thing, but try and desist from patronising people, it does you no service.

Looking like Starmer's number will be up very, very soon. The party is crumbling with resignations over his support for the genocide lovers and public opinion of him is dropping like a stone in the ocean. Completely of his own doing and he'll fully deserve to lose his dream of becoming PM the little snake.

So by not condemning Israel or calling for a ceasefire out of fear of raising the Labour Party anti semitism profile again for the msm, here we are, ready for another 5 years of Tory rule.

Well played left wingers, you’ve played a blinder for the Tory’s.

He isn't going anywhere unfortunately.
Wouldn't be a bad thing anyway if we got a more charismatic leader.

My guess is that he’s losing support within the party, especially by the very left of the party. But possibly the average voter won’t even notice and will still vote Labour due to the cost of living and their mortgages and rent skyrocketing over the last 2 years.

'Labour' will win the next election with Starmer as their leader.

Then those who'll make it happen have 5 years to repent at leisure as just exactly what it means to have that lot in control becomes obvious: more austerity, more deregulation, more crumbling of existing services.

The ridiculous thing is that I know that most of you know that in advance, but you just want the satisfaction of this being 'Labour' in office doing it rather than than the Tory Party.
