It won't. It'll just cause a stampede of 'Labour' MPs to threaten the same thing, Starmer will cave in and will look like a weak leader.

He's been petrified to upset the Israeli lobby who will turn on him and his top team if 'Labour' fault to back their actions in Gaza.

….nah, he’s dancing on a pin. Bottom line is it’ll make absolutely no difference what his stance is, he’s falling into line with western leaders in publicly supporting Israel whilst they work behind the scenes to temper the Israeli response.

Israel are clear that they will not be having a ceasefire. Diplomacy is the way forward.

Do the right thing. State that you support Israel in the pursuit of Hamas after their terrorist atrocities but that the current actions of the Israeli state are in themselves wicked and amount to genocide.

Stand up and denounce both antisemitism and Islamophobia. Call for a ceasefire and a stop to the land grabs and deaths of innocents.
