I posted the communication above as it does indicate were the tories are trying to pull the fight, and Labour will have to defend themselves, in part, on this ground. It is all very sad.
Labour have been very muddled and weak in their migration policies. They’re too scared of going too far in opposition for fear of alienating some voters. It’s pathetic in my opinion.

For instance, if they think Brexit is a disaster they should say so and promise another referendum within two years of reaching Downing St.
