Seems like Labour won West Lancashire by election yesterday.
31 % turn out. Disgraceful.

That is sadly about par for local elections. The big thing about this result though is the 10% swing from Tory to Labour. Hopefully a sign of things to comeSeems like Labour won West Lancashire by election yesterday.

Corbyn is in Liverpool this weekend.Anyone with any political knowledge would have known Corbyn was toast in the Labour party the moment he fell into Starmers rather very obvious trap. The only democracy that matters is the ballot box in a General Election. Which Corbyn is still free to stand in, nothing is stopping him. If the people in his constituency like him? Then he should win fairly easily. If they've been voting for him purely because he was the Labour candidate, then well he's probably going to lose.
No one is bigger than the Labour Party and it's about time Corbyn and supprters reflected on that. The task at hand is to defeat the Tories and repair as much of the damage they've caused as a possible.
Corbyn had his chance and blew it. Time to move on.
