Had a missive from Labour pushed through my backstreet Walton door proclaiming that they have maintained council services in Liverpool despite a 65% cut in Government funding since 2010. I can only think this is by having one of the highest rates of council tax in the country and fully expect that they will levy the maximum increase they can for the following year. Can I expect that Labour upon inevitably gaining power will reinstate lost funding to councils such as Liverpool and my council tax bill will reduce?

I thought so. I’m not as well read on this subject, but if she and labour are abiding by the rules then I don’t see an issue.

What Telegraph and Oakshott have been releasing is way above Sue Gray, Some of the stuff the Tories have been coming out with about this appointment it utter hyperbole, yet they stand silent over their own party Ministers laughing at electorate managing lockdown. Bad timing on appointment, its very good.

After all the nonsense in the last few years it would be refreshing if Labour went into the general election with clearly laid out policies and as little obvious spin as possible. I guess that's too much to hope for.
