Labour have been very muddled and weak in their migration policies. They’re too scared of going too far in opposition for fear of alienating some voters. It’s pathetic in my opinion.
Will create more uncertainty. We going to need a period of stability after this Tory mess, then we (mainland UK) will move towards alignment with EU then we might as well be at the table rather than on the menu, so back in. The path to rejoin was started with Sunak last week. I can see us back within 10 years now, rather than 30 plus years.
 
Trickett is a nice bloke, but what a clanger.

If HS2 fails, it demonstrates that the UK government is incapable of any large infrastructure project.
Wait, so the nuclear power plants promised one a year every year for the next ten years but behind by a year already turned out to be bullspit? Say it aint so, pleaaaaaaase...
 
Appealing to the centrist vote
Will sure up vote across the spectrum. Despite what government peddles out, there is the feeling that breakdown in law and order is worsening many polling suggests this. It ranks third on people's concerns. Been clear strategy for some years now for Labour.
