I wonder if he is in the mood to echo Thatcher he will go as far as she did when came to power and hand out the 25% pay rise to the public sector. Police got 45% and been Tory puppets ever since. Indeed hardly surprising Starmer is a law and order man given is background.

that wasn't Thatcher, it was the Callaghan government (it came out of the Edmund-Davis commission of 1978)

I think the Home Counties are pretty set on voting Tory tbh.
Not nailed on now with Reform UK now stating they will stand in every seat they have caballed the Brexit Party back together. At this point don't see what current Conservative Party can offer them to stand down like back in 2019. I don't believe Reform UK will want to deal as before, they are out to take complete control of the Conservative Party now. Labour and Liberals have now got their act together in strategic sense and look to hoover much if not all the center ground up.

Starmer is the kick in the thighs you take to avoid a kick in the balls

It still hurts, but just not quite as much

Basically, I'm still voting Labour, but with less willingness than before
I find him impossible to vote for.

No doubt I will vote Labour, cos we can't allow The Nazi Party to get in, but I will mark that ballot with rage.
