Hes never won the FA Cup tho, maybe he will come and win it with us.

As I said fair play he went to United.

It would have been nice if he pulled a Batistuta though and turned down boss teams and stayed with us. Batistuta wasn't even from Florence.

People seem to be well over Rooney leaving. It still annoys me he left. And he was old enough to know what he was doing so the weasel agent line is a deflection.

Reckon he'll want to try and beat Charlton's goal scoring record for United. He's currently 69 behind, so maybe another three seasons and he'll be free to move back.

He was 18 mate.

He got his head turned by moneys and the lure of playing for the best Club in almost the World.

He did it like a little rat judas, no doubt, but there comes a time when you gotta forgive.

And the money from his sale helped LOADS.

He will be back at Everton when he is 30?

Someone tune into sanity FM.

LCAB and Bluefox have both said the same thing. You know, the guys who provide the vast majority of spot on information to this forum ?

You could not believe them if you want, but then you might want to avoid this forum for the Summer, seeing as any reliable transfer info tends to come from those two.

Whilst clearly in the know, to claim they know what's going to happen three years down the line is complete nonsense. They're not dealing in fact here, just conjecture. His family may believe he'll be back, they may have even been told it's a definite, but it's 2012, not 2015.

I think I'm right in saying that if we didn't sell him we would have been in BIG trouble.

Didn't say it was definite, it is far more reliable however than somebody saying 'He won't come back until he's 35' when they have zero to base it on.

Yes, things can change, the entire world could implode in December, but as things stand he will be back with plenty still to give to the club.

If we're only going to go on what is 100% definite we may aswell all leave the forum and just wait for transfers to show up at Goodison.

Ahhh sorry, thought they'd said it's a cert. No worries.

2015 is a while off, we need another homecoming before then. I've been waiting a long time but surely the time is upon us, where is Stuart Barlow, we need his pace!
