But this parliament was only elected in 2017. Surely the "will of the people" can't change that quickly.
When so many MP’s have jumped ship, like mine here in N Wales, yes, things can change quickly. Last I heard he was standing down, but if he’s not and he contests the GE, he’ll be out on his ar5e, and good riddance.

...ha, ha, that means I couldn’t vote!!

The thought of 5 years of Boris Johnson is frightening, but I can only see a big Tory victory over this Momentum Labour Party.

Not sure why Labour are giving Johnson exactly what he wants, seems a ridiculous time for an election as far as Labour is concerned.
It's a big swing from Corbyn's previous dogmatic tactic of just performativity opposing things because it was easier than actually doing something.

However, it will rightly be seen by most as another typical rather slow reaction forced by the Liberals, SNP and co. agreeing to an earlier general election.

I question whether he and his followers genuinely feel that they can strike at the Conservatives because most moderate Labour supporters I know aren't confident.

They had no option. The LD’s and SNP were on board and it only needed a simple majority. Corbyn had no choice in the matter.......

....they didn’t have to support it, and there were increasing misgivings from SNP. It’s ludicrous to give Johnson and Cummings a GE on their terms.

Saying that, nothing surprises me with the strategy of this Momentum Labour Party.

They would have looked completely stupid and cowardly if they didn’t support it. It was the only decision they could make and pretend that it was of their own volition........

It would have gone through without them mate, and in truth it's an awful look being the only party opposing an election that then gets called in spite of you.

I think this election is far more open than people think as well. A December election, cold wet day, electorate disenfranchised with politics etc. Very volatile.

Is that for most seats? I'd avoid all said bets.

If you want to make money, look for Lib Dems to win Tory remain seats in the south west.I reckon you may get 3/4-1 on them winning Golders Green too, which people should fly into.
