How can someone from a council estate from these places look at the likes of Mogg and Johnson and think they represent my interests? It's terrifying what Brexit has done to the country. I bet even the Tories can't believe people are falling for it.

I have travelled the world. I have worked all over the world. I have enough air miles to comfortably travel the world many times over In first class. My kids who are all in their 30’s and 40’s work around the world, but would be the first to admit that they do not even come close to my own experience....going on holiday around Europe, playing on the Internet or driving a new German car does not give a greater world understanding.......

Actually, I’m very proud of my kids. I‘ll grant you I‘ve never allowed them to beat me at anything, until they were actually good enough, but they now have a real world view and are married or are about to be married to really nice people and are based in America, Philippines and the Middle East. I am proud that my kids see the world almost as one single country and understand differing cultures, that’s how it should be...

They live in countries with rather despotic regimes. Hope they are not easily influenced

Why would age be the basis of the debate?

It can influence a debate. I converse with my 6 year old granddaughter in a manner and with examples that she will both understand and can relate. At 16 I could appreciate that we effectively live in two different worlds. People tend to understand the other persons view if they experience the same things. My initial question, and I am no longer interested in the answer, was an attempt to more understand an approximate thought process and experience base of the poster. Simple really, conflict usually comes from lack of understanding......

How has any Labour government changed the lives of the people living ‘up north’ in Council houses. The Labour Party take these people for idiots to take their vote and give nothing back in return.....
