How has any Labour government changed the lives of the people living ‘up north’ in Council houses. The Labour Party take these people for idiots to take their vote and give nothing back in return.....

Pete you cannot seriously be suggesting that the Tories do more for people that live in council estates and struggle on little or no private income.

How can someone from a council estate from these places look at the likes of Mogg and Johnson and think they represent my interests? It's terrifying what Brexit has done to the country. I bet even the Tories can't believe people are falling for it.

As well as being in the Express it's a Brexit right wing outfit , it's in the Dmail.

Dmail and You Gov

Both owned by tax-avoiding Tories.

Nothing to see here...

Pete it is quite simple; the Labour Party gave those people council houses. The Tory Party takes the council houses away.

Council houses were being built before the Labour Party even existed, under a Conservative government, and decades before the first Labour Government. The Tories actually came to power in the early 50’s on a promise to build 300,000 a year and that is when building really took off. By the time the next Labour government came along in the mid 60’s they were pretty well built. So it’s a nice piece of political myth......

The Tories try to provide the basis for the worse off to better themselves and gain employment. Labour just wants to spoon feed it’s voter base....Again, what has Labour actually ever done to help those people in Council estates to improve their lives or better themselves.....

I believe it was Labour who began Sure Start.

Decimated since 2009

You don't half post some utter poo... Housing act 1919 (Addison Act). If you know your history...
