Centrist politics needs to make a comeback but the rubbish I see on places like Twitter appears to make it unlikely.

Twitter makes even the most sensible people turn violently to the left or right. There is no middle ground. Quite scary the stuff in there.

It's not that hard to understand like is it?

I hope they get battered by the Tories. Really battered. The serfs deserve nothing else.
The real question is how can Labour be so bad that staunch voters switch to the tories? Play the ball not the man or you'll never get them back.
 
For me, it boils down to people being thick enough to only comprehend three words; Get Brexit Done.

There is no nuanced policy anymore. There are no sensible moderates that people like @Tubey claim that Labour hasn't appealed to. This is what 21st century Britain has become and I am ashamed of it and terrified for its future.

Get out of the bubble and talk to people. That's all I can suggest - I'm not the minority here.
