For me, it boils down to people being thick enough to only comprehend three words; Get Brexit Done.

There is no nuanced policy anymore. There are no sensible moderates that people like @Tubey claim that Labour hasn't appealed to. This is what 21st century Britain has become and I am ashamed of it and terrified for its future.
Looking at the predictions for the Yorkshire areas, i think you maybe correct here.

If Burnley goes to the Tories, I hope we stick it to them horrible bastards on Boxing Day and let their scum fans know exactly what they are.

Looks like it could. It's 50/50. And bring from Burnley that is purely Brexit. The Tories are hated in Burnley but our mp has let Burnley down

You have to ask WHY places like that are going from Labour to Conservative, that’s the pertinent point.

If any staunch labour areas are switching then you know the party has really messed up.
They really think the Tories are going to put investment into the area? They’re a town full of bigoted fools and I hope this cripples the cesspit.

Take it from someone who didn't want a Tory win but definitely didn't want a Corbyn win.

It isn't just the leader. It's the policies too. "NATIONALISE EVERYTHING!" has zero appeal; nationalise some things as part of a moderate, evolutionary, fully costed centre-left manifesto would have massive appeal.

The answer isn't to find a 'radical' leader - the answer is to appeal to people; pragmatism over ideology. Play the game that exists, not the one you wish existed.

Johnson plowing hard right was an opportunity for Labour to appeal to normal people horrified by it. Instead, they went harder in the opposite direction. In a country that is centre-right and has no socialist history whatsoever. Suicidal.

The issue, in my view is that nobody viewed his proposals as feasible. Not because they are bad proposals, but because he has not been insurgent enough outside of election periods.

To anyone thats thinking of coming in this thread to gloat, maybe give it a miss.

You dont know what circumstances people are in and how much they have been or are affected by the Tory policies
I'd hope that anyone admitting to being a Tory is banned for life tbh..

I've deleted and blocked several 'friends' on Facebook recently. Despise them all. Sickening that anyone can support them. Ever.

The battle between Sturgeon and Johnson is going to get messy. Plus the Issue with Northern and Southern Ireland is going to rumble on

The Tories must be laughing at how easy that was. Honestly felt like they gave minimal effort all election, just like they will for healthcare and work policies, and still walked it. Embarrassing.

Ah Jeremy the anti-semitic terrorist - looks like the billionaire media moguls managed to spend enough money on facebook ads to smear him. The fact that he himself has never made an anti-semitic comment, compared to Johnsons multiple shows of sexism, racism, homophobia

Corbyn's page spent 140k in 12 hours the night after his Andrew Neal interview.

Overall, as of two weeks back, the top spend on targeted Facebook ads was a page/group called 'Best For Britain' (which I believe is Lib Dem). Johnson's page was third, Corbyn's fourth, above either of their parties.
