They (the BBC in particular) have tried to get a stampede going whereby it's acceptable for working class Labour voters to vote Tory for this election. It's been a con-trick. They may have done enough to swing a couple more seats the Tories way though.
There is no doubt whatsoever now that the BBC is a willing tool of the Tory party.

At the end of a long and gruelling winter election campaign she turned out to support Labour colleague Meg Hillier in her neighbouring East London constituency of Hackney South.
Johnson getting a slim majority looks nailed on sadly. But I dont think Corbyn has truly ever wanted to be PM, he wants to be the person who takes Labour fully back to the left which he's pretty much done. They need a blockbuster candidate to emerge in the next few years to get back power.
