Vote in haste, repent at leisure. Polarisation, ghettos on the edge of major cities, low/zero taxes for corporations who bring nothing to the country. Yet more infrastructure sold off to the French/Germans/Japanese/USA. Mass unemployment in the car industry, food shortages, a stagnant/shrinking economy.

Happy Christmas everyone!!

Given 52% of people voted for Brexit, the country by a narrow majority deserves what it's about to get.

That's the sad truth of it. Those who protest voted the 'establishment' in that referendum have gifted the very same every bit of power they ever wanted to race this country to the bottom.

A traditional Labour voter can't moan about the Tories winning if they voted for Brexit in 2016.

Brexit isn't really the problem, it's the type of Brexit. If we'd left the EU but kept the Customs Union most of these problems wouldn't arise.

So far all the money has been against the Cons this morning. Looking distinctly less certain for Johnson than it was last night. Quite a good chance of a hung parliament right now.

Trotted to the polls with a heavy heart this morning. It's just crazy that Johnson hasnt been called out more for his lies. I'm out tonight at a Christmas do so will at least avoid the pain of those results coming through.

Heart says a hung parliament with a way forward to remove Corbyn and secure a 2nd referendum.

Head says a Tory majority of 65 plus a fear the the DUP will also emerge unscathed.

Do one tubey. Polling day is the last day to let hope fill my heart, before the exit poll at 10pm crushes my spirit, and the horror of the next 5 years falls into focus.

Four and a half years, Amw.

They will revert to a summer election in 2024.

It doesn’t sound just as bad when you think of of that way. :)
