LOL.

What about Labour’s tired propagandising about the ‘Tories selling the NHS’? It’s all they ever say. They’ve been saying it for decades. The Tories must’ve sold the entirety of the NHS 5 times over by now.

What about Labour’s demonising if anyone who isn’t skint? If you earn a half decent wage, Labour think you’re a crook. God forbid people get rich, create jobs and massively contribute to the economy.

Maybe we wouldn’t have had to endure 10 years of austerity if Labour hadn’t quite literally written a note for Cameron and Osborne in 2010 saying “There’s no money left”.

Labour piss money up the wall on half-backed policies, designed to make them look good but making zero economic sense. Their PFI brainchild was a real winner wasn’t it? Labour can never be trusted on the economy, even more so now with Corbyn and McDonnell plotting their Venezuela-style ‘paradise’.

Once he gets beat again tomorrow, maybe the cowards in the Labour Party will gather enough courage to oust that dangerous old fool from his leadership, and the PLP will be able to reboot and start doing the job on a competent opposition, because this is the worst Tory party in a long time and they’re still streets ahead of the laughing stock that is Labour.

Congratulations.

You are today's winner of the Daily Mail Labour bingo game.

Is this a parody? Sure reads like one.

It was garbled nonsense even before you mentioned Venezuela, but I completely clocked out after that tbh

If you know your history, you would know that PFIs were fist introduced by the Major government last I read that was Conservative government...

So there's absolutely no chance of a labour win? Even with the huge spike in young voters?

Also - can someone explain in layman terms why a hung government, despite torys getting more seats, is essentially a win?

....a ‘hung Parliament’ is probably the best Labour voters can hope for because it means the Tories cannot easilly force through their policies. Opposition parties coming together would be able to outvote them. I suppose there’s also an outside chance that Labour might try and force a Coalition Government with SNP.

Thanks Eggs.

I always wondered why SNP and labour haven't joined before? Aren't they essentially left but with a strong voice for Scotland?

The SNP surge is relatively a new thing in UK politics, before 2015 Labour was the dominant force north of the border politics. There hasn't been any need for them to join together as a coalition in the last 30 years.

Day of reckoning for 'our fearless' PM. Backed by the establishment and the mainstream media in particular the BBC and pulling out all the dirty tricks against Corbyn and the Labour party, it's still in the balance. Raab, Johnson, Duncan Smith and Redwood will be bricking themselves this morning as they are very close to losing their seats. Poetic justice.

...SNP prime objective is independence, so a referendum would have to be part of any deal. Ahead of an election, Labour will not want to be seen to facilitate Scottish independence. Be interesting if SNP wipe out the Tories in Scotland.

If your polling station is a school and you vote for the Tories you might as well curl one off on a kids desk on the way out.

They're absolutely desperate, by the way. A Tory leaflet landed on my doormat at approximately 5:20 this morning, making my dog bark very loudly, a lot, waking my whole family and probably my neighbours up too. I nearly chased the prick down the road to do him a serious physical discourtesy.

They weren't getting my vote anyway but now it's 100% personal.
