For the last 20 years I have lived in Bath which is tight between Libs and Nasty party. It puts me in a quandary, tactical or go with Labour as they have been rumoured to be much closer this year. I am good friends with my local Labour reps but am unsure whether to trust their call on just how close it is. Do NOT want to hand the Tories anything.

What to do???
Vote for the Liberal Democrat who currently holds the seat would be my advice. Bath has never been held by Labour and they were nowhere in 2017.

2017 result:

Liberal Democrats Wera Hobhouse 23,436 47.3% Increase 17.6%

Conservative Ben Howlett 17,742 35.8% Decrease 2.0%

Labour Joe Rayment 7,279 14.7%
Increase 1.5%

Green Eleanor Field 1,125 2.3%

Yeh, seems right. Both me and my wife will do the same I think.
Thanks

I’m voting Labour for many reasons.

I’ve been living in London for 5 years now and in all honesty the quality of life here is worse than Wirral/Liverpool, in some cases significantly. The amount of poverty I see on a daily basis is staggering, particularly seeing as this is supposed to be one of the richest countries/cities in the world. Within those 5 years it’s got progressively worse.

I’m not 100% convinced that Corbyn is the right person to lead the country but I am convinced he is a man who has the nation’s best interest at heart and genuinely cares about people who are disadvantaged. Boris Johnson and the Conservatives however, do not.

...

Total myth

Is it really? I don’t remember too many Labour MP’s objecting to their 12% pay rise
whilst I and many others were told to make do with our 1%.
I know it’s not just them, but each party is terrible and it’s hard to believe anything will change.

Why would they object?

They are however talking about proper pay rises for teachers, police nurses etc.

Who cares?

A 4 year old kid has to sleep on a hospital floor because there are no beds but Dianne Abbot has the wrong shoes on.

The Prime Minister unlawfully prorogued parliament after lying to the queen but Dianne Abbot is drinking a mojito from a can on the tube.

The Prime Minister can barely dress himself most days, he refused to face any scrutiny from anyone but tame press but Dianne Abbot's shoes need to be the focus.

Anyone that thinks that is newsworthy, clever or a reason not to vote in a particular way is an absolute moron.
