I'm not quite sure what your point is here, why wouldn't they be independent? The coalition members are here for interest https://reformpoliticaladvertising.org/coalition-members/

The First Draft comment is here https://firstdraftnews.org/latest/t...side-step-scrutiny-thanks-to-facebook-policy/

It was a 4 day sample across the beginning of December. I would suggest you read the article first, then the reports before summarily dismissing what is quoted.

I did read it. Its why I dismissed it as garbage. Like you say, a 4 day sample. Conclusion on social media being that every thing one says is true, and circa 90% the other one says is crap.

Its my problem with social media mate, thats all. Instant reactions are killing the veracity of a "campaign".

I really CBA to mate. My point was that I would be a tad suspicious that in these social media days, only one party is 100% true on 100% of ads.
Yes it would...

It would also be odd to not actually read the article, which cites two separate sources, one independent and one not for profit and think they both arrived at the same conclusion.

So why have you attributed the findings of First Draft to that of the Political Advertising Reform Coalition because they don't reach the same conclusion.

Like I said. I did read it. And thanks for agreeing that you would be suspicious. Difference is, you accept it as copper bottomed, I have a more jaundiced view.

Ok, fair cop. I didnt read every paragraph and link. I read the BBC link, (thought they were biased earlier btw), and the concluding notes.

My point remains though. I dont trust anything on social media, not least any survey that tells me one party is 100% squeaky clean, (for 4 days), and the others are all bent.

Unlike you and others, I have no agenda in this. I hate them all.

the way Tories are demonised on here i'm not surprised fellow blues aren't keen on outing themselves.

maybe Labour voters aren't as liberal as we think...it's a sign of fascism to aggressively pipe down a section of the electorate.
More simple answer - maybe they're ashamed of themselves?

I don't accept it as copper bottomed. I accept what the Political Advertising Reform coalition have said in their report. First Draft, a completely separate organisation, who are non profit but presumably not independent, have separately stated they couldn't find evidence of Labour lies, but then go on to state that Full Fact have described Labour Claims as not credible.

I'll call a lie out if I see, on either side. Labour have lied and mislead during this campaign, I've said so as much on this thread. I'm not drinking the Kool Aid, but this Tory Party are making it an art form.
