It's just a bit boring, any time you are unable to defend the Tories/Johnson/Farage/The Establishment, you turn the topic and then say you were joking. It's fine to, it just shows that you don't have much behind your views.

I have loads behind my views, but I’ve been in the pub for the last 4 hours. I have a life you see... speak with you in the morning...no wait, I’m tied up for the next two days...see you Thursday or Friday.......

The country doesn’t change, we can all ride out 5 years of any government before we decide to keep or twist....
I'm not sure those who the Tories have inflicted unnecessary misery upon, through a policy of austerity, would agree with you.

I don't think the UK citizens who have been subject to racist government policies would agree with you.

There will only be civil unrest if our government does not act upon our referendum...and even then if will be within the law...
He could've had Brexit already had he not voted against it under the previous PM, then pulled his bill because he didn't want parliament to read it.

You keep peddling this untruth that Parliament is stopping any form of Brexit when it's utter rubbish.

Tory voters are obviously too enamoured with Johnson or too thick to realise - most of this forum aren't.

Regardless of topic, the core of any argument by @peteblue seems to be 'i am better than you' which is in direct contrast to all available evidence.

It's pretty easy - Conservative party Press Office changed their twitter name and logo to this: View attachment 71816

In an attempt to trick people into thinking tweets were from a verified fact checking source.

Add this to the Starmer video stunt. This is not a government in waiting this is our government and they are treating people with contempt. How anyone can trust the Conservatives!?

It's briefly mentioned on the BBC...

....the Conservatives acting like the Opposition in saying what they’re going to do.

I have no idea why Labour don’t highlight this and shift the emphasis to the state of the country ‘now’; worst ever NHS figures, child poverty increases, food banks, Police numbers, knife crime, wage levels compared to boardroom levels since 2010, just wanting to get Brexit done when Johnson continually delayed the May deal et al.

I find it incredible that we aren’t judging the Tories on what they’ve done rather than what they say they are going to do.

ITV's political correspondent asked after the debate, 'who won"?, over 29 000 responded with 78% saying Corbyn. By this morning it's 'a Johnson win' claims all and sundry. Must have got their information from this new 'fact checker' organisation set up yesterday

Perfect example of how our media operate, now I know Labour have been challenging the Government for years... Just don't rely on the media opinion that is dressed up as fact. As highlighted by @ramacca.

....can’t blame everything on the media, some things are down to a very poor strategy.

I do and enablers like yourself agmonst others.

Labour walked away from main stream media some time ago for good reason, for the same reasons Swinson has found out, (ha ha ha). It pained them to have Corbyn on last night and it was rigged for Johnson Brexit mantra for 30 min. Like I said yesterday in another post, face to face social media...That's where Labour strategies are at.
