It should come as no surprise that two lids from Barcelona have waltzed into our starting xi and have transformed us.

Barca are really hard to deal with they tease but they can pull the trap door on you at any time with these tough contracts. A good signing in Jan and a couple more in the summer ( along with Zouma) May convince Gomes we are going places

The missing piece is a centre forward who can head the ball from the myriad of corners, crosses and free kicks we have. I have high hopes for MIna to solve this problem occasionally but with Gomes pulling the strings and Richarlison back to the wing we are in the making of something special.

Myself and @Eggs plus a few others said this lad was a proper footballer who if he found his Valencia form would transform us
Other lads were saying he’d always be injured and wouldn’t play for us
Along with Bernard and Siggy and Digne we now have proper footballers in our squad and you can never have enough of them

My jury on Silva is still out
He was way down my list of prospective managers at the time of his appointment Mainly because of his previous teams defensive records
However he has surpassed my expectations of him and I think he has every chance of being successful here
However Brands signings have been crucial
To sign 6 players and for all of them to be a success and improve the team is a remarkable achievement and has given Silva the tools he needed

this is me 100%. Did not want Silva, never saw anything in him to support all the chasing and possible fine/points deduction.

He's done well so far, long may it continue. But I'm still skeptical.
