I think what Fellainis goals cement is that anyone playing in that role will have the opportunity to score goals, the way we play. Cahill done if for years. But also worked a lot harder for the striker. Something which Jelavic has lacked. I feel sincerely sorry for Jelavic this season. He's missed some sitters but he's worked his backside off to accommodate Fellaini.

If that was the case why would he paint himself into a corner like this ? If he's prepared to quit over it then why not manoeuvre himself where he maintains the moral high ground ? You're right in that it's about opinions....and I'd wager good money on there being more people 'in football' who beleive Moyes is committed and wants to win something with Everton rather than move on, than there are who think otherwise. I think it's become 'cool' to denigrate Moyes recently....and fair do's if that's your poison, each to his own. What is undeniable is that Everton as a football team ( not a business) are massively healthier now than prior to his tenure.
