Agreed, but it's not true in modern times either. I do think there is the image of "a terrorist" which is, in many minds, an Islamic terrorist.

But that's in part due to the fact, once again, that Islamic terrorism is by far the most common type in the modern era.*

*caveat here for when Magicjuan says the USA or Israel are the world's biggest terror orgs (it's a pretty well known playbook).

You denying it? What is the definition of 'terrorism'?

Huh? How can you possibly make such a claim?

Because I hear it all the time (or more accurately, hear a ton of Christian bashing with little to no criticism of Islam)? Because the modern left celebrates Linda Sarsour and Tamika Mallory, who embrace Islamic radicals while bemoaning evangelical Christian influence?

The concept of the "regressive left" has been pretty well discussed in recent years, I'm kind of surprised you're surprised.

Not from most people I know. And certainly not me. I equally discriminate between Christians and Muslims.

Organized religion will be the death of everyone on this planet

yet another lie from you, resorting to more anecdotal nonsense, you debate like a kopite

White supermacists yes, the alt right I can’t agree on though.

Well it's not fair for me to ask you to put up a movement against 2 people, however small the movement may be in reality. But consider those 2 are prominent thought leaders in the very widely publicized Women's March, and I think it becomes a better comparison. I would argue that the more extreme wing of the Women's March movement is an apt comparison for the true alt-right movement.

But just as you would probably think the alt-right and Breitbart and whatnot has influenced the modern right, I would say the same for ThinkProgress and intersectional feminism and the modern left.

I'd say drone bombing wedding parties fall into this category.

I don't know if you're talking about 2014 Rada'a or one of the others, but none I know of fall into the category.

I know the goal is to fit America under the label because it's more convenient and more stigmatizing. But you could just as easily, and more accurately, criticize US military invention without strained definitions.
