I wouldn't disagree, but I'd say that's more to do with evil people and human nature than the particular brand of politics they associate with. Communism on the far left is much more desirable than white supremacy on the far right and surely every reasonable person would agree with that. Unfortunately "communism" seems to be a word that just gets abused by terrible people/organisations like the ones you mentioned. By communism, they mean totalitarianism which always means trouble.

Also, I originally thought you wrote Senderos. I was ready to agree that he's far worse than anything else imaginable.

Humans will exploit any political system for personal gain - especially the psychotic ones. The extreme left is infinitely more desirable in its beliefs than the right.

Genuinely interested here - how many people posting have lived in a totalitarian state, or is it a case of left good/ right bad because of the underlying ideals, which will inevitably become corrupted anyway?

The extremes on both sides are detestable and I'll stand by that. Ironically their views on things can actually be an awful lot closer than the political spectrum suggests.
