Im ashamed of what I saw yesterday.

It was horrid.

But I saw hundreds of people abusing the players on twitter, you think this will motivate them?
I dont do twitter but I do get the anger and frustrations. Pre premier league you still had contact with the players one way or another. These lot jump in the monster cars speed across to Alderley Edge and bevy with merchant bankers etc probably think we are just scum and not people working hard for 600 a week if we are lucky and spending a minimum 50 pounds at the game.

It's not difficult to admit.. our fans are terrible, the TV watching fans and social media crew are bell ends (me included) the majority of game going fans are fine but once there's a few bad performances they too turn toxic.

believing this is cult behavior buddy.
Don't think so! Considering the tripe we've put up with for years the support is still incredible.

I am always convinced that we never got relegated because the fans refused to let the team be relegated....and not because of the players....the atmosphere in some of those games like Wimbledon and Coventry is what kept the previous bunch of losers in the division

so the fans get credit for stopping your team being relegated how many years ago but not for any of the bad stuff?? sounds like something a cult would say buddy. we just want want honest appraisal on this topic not mantras.

How can you expect fans to believe and be positive when players dont believe.

These players dont get it. They dont understand what it's like for us to lose like that. We only improve when they go.

it is a difficult watch to see so many passionate fans suffer like this weekend and obvious that things have to change rapidly. as part of soul searching do u think fans have a small part to play in improving so the everton get better??
No. They should bring back crucifixion and if a certain player is deemed to not have given 100% it‘s goodnight Vienna.
Proper crucifixion with nails, none of this poor man’s crucifixion with rope.
The only part the fans should play is voting with thumbs up or down like the Romans with the Christians.

i personally back this pioneering solution 100%

you seem to be conflating customer with fan and eschewing “ entitlement “.
No not at all in football they go hand in hand , we are both the fan and the customer.

Let's take theatre as another prime example. The paying customer (also audience member) may or may not enjoy the show, but they would certainly not be accountable for mediocre acting. They would also have the right to voice their concerns.

that is a terrible example and i can only conskide you are very insecure as a fan and part of the problem mr regan. in many ways u are the perfect example i was hoping for.

I disagree completely, they are both performanced based live entertainment, with paying customers of which without the entertainment would simply not exist.

Nope your bias personal judgement of me couldn't be more incorrect. As a fan I want success and demand more from the club it's that simple.

The insecurity lies deep within the club and transpires on the pitch most weeks. But to say the people who follow through thick and thin and take their seats at Goodison are to blame is complete lunacy.
