That's actually my side on FIFA career mode after I got angry a couple of months ago and sold all my senior players.
Stoke spanked me.
That's what happens when you don't have a left back...

City do it with u23s...theyre at the top of the league and playing the best football.
The hope is that these players can forge a team spirit on/off the pitch and grow as players together.
The sum could be worth more than its parts.
All of those players would get games in the premier league, some of them for top sides.
I sort of agree that any of these probably won't be world beaters, but the world beaters are Messi and Ronaldo type players, but I acually think Davies could be (dare I say it) I will a modern day Bryan Robson he has the tacking drive and can score, he's got a way to go but he's still very young. Also in that list there's Baningame who I haven't seem much of but looks an excellent player, in my eyes a makelele,Kanye,Gueye type player them 2 could dominate our midfield for years to come the future in my eyes for Everton is very bright. It's just a shame we haven't in earthed a young Vardy type player (YET).i don't think dowell will make it myself. I think he may come back to the prem like a duffy, forshaw has, but it won't be with us. Let's just wait and see, but it would be great if we could have all of them being very good squad members for the next decade or so, none of them stand out to me as possible world beaters though. Maybe lookman if he gets confidence.
City don’t rotate their academy graduates into the team, they buy very expensive players, some of whom maybe young. Comparing Vlasic and Lookman to Bernardo Silva and Gabriel Jesus is not a valid argument
That's the point...
Vlasic and Lookman cost over 20mil that's decent money for us to spend on u21 players.
City can go and spend 50mil on who they please...
We need to be signing more players like this and giving them games together...then see how the sum of the team looks
Zat there’s a massive difference in quality; Sane, Jesus, Silva where plying their trade at big clubs, international footballers and in some cases playing in the champions league.
Stating that because their young and cost half of what Siggurdson did is no reason to automatically give them game time. They’re clearly not at that level. So again the city comparison doesn’t work.
We all know you want Everton to have this young, initiative team, who are all hungry because they’ve come through the ranks together and they’re all best mates. But it’s not how football works.
People like Lookman, Vlasic, Davies are not at the level of those at city. Not even close, otherwise they’d be playing every game and making considerable difference to the Out come of that game, which they are not. Impact subs st best
I haven't said theyre at the same level as City...its an aspirational example
Jeffers Cadarmarteri Grant RodwellVaughan, Anichebe, Baxter, Gosling, Duffy.
Can I share a word of caution.
Then my initial point stands, our u23s get massively over rated by our fan base after a handful of games and the reality is that they’re not at the standard required
Standard required for what? If we're taking the u21 players who have had games in our first eleven then you could argue;
Kenny
Holgate
Vlasic
Lookman
DCL
Baningime
Davies
etc etc have all shown the capability to perform in an 'above average' capacity in the premier league.
When you then take in to account the circumstances of their development and rapid progression in most cases it's a very different learning curve to a 22 year old (2-4 years older) at Man City for example.
At this present moment in time, we don't know what level these Evertonian players will reach, it is impossible to say. However game time and experience are said to increase the productivity and improvement of development cycles.
If we take the case of Alan Shearer, he had a handful of goals at the same age as DCL and his stock only rose during a summer youth tournament, however someone like Beckham was already showing huge ability as was Neville at a similar age to some of our kids....
Of course they could plateau as well....we don't know.
The point I'm trying to make is that if you take any of these players individually they could get games for most sides in the league...at a very young age. Also, I don't believe you (or anyone) can discount the potential of players or groups of players as weve seen with Moyes, Royle and even if you look at Leicester that the sum of a teams parts can be greater as a whole...
Its really impossible to know how these individuals and group can develop together but they need as much experience as can benefit them to give them every chance.
Will we riot if he scores ??Kenny is a good boy. He obviously has had training from Tony Hibbert.
Zat it’s never ever going to happen not even on FIFAAs of next season: average age 21.
Pickford (24)As you say, Onyekuru (21) will be here as well.
Kenny(21) -- Holgate (21) -- Keane (25) -- ???
Baningime (19) Davies (20)
Vlasic (20) -- Dowell (20) -- Lookman (20)
DCL (21)
I think we need to keep adding to this conveyor belt. We've seen Gibson signed for up to 6mil and also Feeney being given a chance but I think we need to aim for 3 players each season to be signed at u21 level....not just the standard u23 side fillers/punts but really solid investments,
Were going to be fighting an uphill battle to make the top 4 and so need to bring in these kids and play them as much as possible so that in seasons to come they are a real team growing together.
if we could just add in a left back like Sessegnon from Fulham and also another centre forward we'd have a very strong squad base.
There is also a FLAB four who are just as importantIf there's a 'Fab Four' on Merseyside tonight then it's Kenny, Holgate, Williams & Martina.
On a cold wet Monday night in the potteries I’d guessThat's actually my side on FIFA career mode after I got angry a couple of months ago and sold all my senior players.
