Genuine question. Given that the old protest scarf is now on sale in Ebay (OK one), was any more produced for the home game?

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Everton-Amber-and-Blue-Protest-Scarf-/280672806907?_trksid=p5197.m7&_trkparms=algo%3DLVI%26itu%3DUCI%26otn%3D2%26po%3DLVI%26ps%3D63%26clkid%3D161700283809159288

I would say that you can't sell something if there is nobody to buy, therefore while i understand the letter, the trick is to persuade the Board to sell (they say that they want to anyway), at the same time persuade some genuine people to buy.

The twelve lads at the Bury friendly wearing them are gonna put the ****s up the board.

Why amber? It just looks like co-promotion for the new away kit. Surely if we're going to rip off the Mancs' protest idea we should be wearing black watch gear?

Wouldn't buy or wear that for what they (the scarf designers) have done to "Nil Satis Nisi Optimum"

Ebeptonians don't do self loathing

Good letter sirblue.

These issues wont be sorted though until the greedy tvvats get the share price they have in mind satisfied and they walk away with a massive profit...including Billy Liar (sorry, especially Billy Liar).

Sum total of investment into the club from Everton's many board members since 1999-2011 = precisely zero.

At least you are doing something sir blue instead of just moaning and it might get some of the tension out of your system but like some have already said i can't see it getting anywhere .
The problem is the board and fat mincer are going nowhere and we only wind ourselves up when we don't go after players that cost money so i suppose acceptence is better than anger.

I hope you didnt send that with no capital letters. You wont be taken seriously typing like that.

Just trying to help, like.

This was the first thing I thought too. If you want to try and be taken seriously use proper grammar.

You didn't scrawl it in green crayon did you?

well well, another sad individual who thinks grammar is more important than letting the club know how a supporter feels.if grammar is so important to you, fine. but i am letting the club know in ANY form i can, just how unhappy i am with the lack of ambition shown. but you carry on with your mundane life, hope it works out well for ya.

Just imagine if you was for instance, a West Ham supporter. All that they reputedly invested and look where that gets them... The Championship. At least we are still in the top league.

Hey, I only wish my life was mundane.

Bottom line is that grammar IS important, especially if you are trying to write to a board of experienced businessmen to question how they are running their business. No disrespect intended, but irrespective of the message you're trying to convey there are right and wrong ways to go about these things.

Good point, but you have committed the ultimate sin. You've not shown your utter contempt and hatred of the board.

You will be insulted by the Internet warriors on this forum who disregard all other views but their own.

As Dr Who said .."My advice son...run"

this bunch of muppets are really showing how experienced they are, ffs. im not writing a novel, im making a protest. it shows the complete apathy of some fans when they can critisise grammar more than the board.

The issue for me isn't about good angel or bad devil. I think their results are mixed. I think there are areas of concern such as the new Park End structure being designed without future thought to the configuration of GP in the coming years. While I had some concerns about the outsourcing of catering, I notice that Sodexho has recently won an award against such teams as Man Utd, Rs etc.

The difference between me and you is that I want to use language which engages with people, not alienates or threatens them such as in the PM I received from someone telling me that he was offered out because he disagreed with someone about the board.

Second, hate eats you up. I don't want to go there. I want to be free to praise and criticise. I have no problem in criticising or prasing the board, but I won't succumb to hate.

Perhaps you might like to explain what you would expect the board to do once they receive your protest?

Why are you so confrontational ? Your language and general attitude towards anybody who gives you advice or disagrees with you isn't positive at all.

Grammar is important, fact. If you want to be taken seriously then you should at least write in a manner expected of an adult, not a stroppy teenager.
