It all seems so long ago - the golden days of KD on the horizon, the grand plan of signing two quality players each season who'd also bring down the age of the squad, and finishing 4th.

Now look at us - a hollowed out organisation with zero ambition and dropping like a stone toward mid-table oblivion.

There's been a lot of criticism of this board from certain quarters, and an air of negativity amongst Everton fans in general.

However, we are where we are, irrespective of past dealings.

We have to be realistic in the context of our current financial position, which is better than Portsmouth's or West Ham.

I for one believe the board have done a marvellous job, in trying circumstances, over the last four week period. Any problems with the Park End development occurred long before this.

Their record is excellent* over the last four weeks*, as some respected posters have commented:

1) They have continued the academy leasing programe without mishap (Neon L)
2) The sky tv generated turnover continues to be high (Neller)
3) They have not released a club statement to confirm their record is not excellent (Noir Toffee)
4) They are businessmen sitting tight to maximise their sale value (Milky large ones)

We have media exposure on the idea in the coming days and have the advice of of clubs who implement something similar. We will continue pushing for it regardless.

I've written three theatre shows for him tonight, just one more before bed. Story line about an imbecile that buys his local club and ****s it up over a period of years.

I know its not all doom and gloom but 80% it is! That other 20% of doom and gloom is on the way,the way the board is working its one cock up after another! I dont have any confidence in the current board what so ever!
