EvertoniansforChange have suggested a fans parliament to the club which you can read about on the website if anyone's interested or ask me if you want.

"We at E4C believe the Fans Forum is not fit for purpose and requires a radical overhaul so that the fans truly are given a voice in the running of their football club. This includes an overhaul of the selection process, the chairing of such meetings, the agenda and the availability of minutes in the public domain. Meetings should be chaired by a neutral observer who is also elected by those fans who have been nominated to represent Evertonians. Furthermore, the agenda for these meetings should not be dictated by the Club, rather, by the members of this Parliament who have been chosen by Evertonians to represent Evertonians. Finally, all minutes from these meetings should be available to see within the Public Domain for anyone that wishes to do so.

This proposition as well as another request for a meeting has been sent to Everton CEO Robert Elstone over the weekend, in the hope that, together, we will be able to create a supporter led group or body that is fit to represent the broad views and opinions of all Evertonians.

No one cares about the future of the Football Clubs more than their own supporters. It is time Evertonians were given back their voice so they can have their say on how the Club is ran."

Basically, what you're asking for there is for Elstone et al to dispense with their security blanket populated by Uncle Toms?

I doubt he'll agree to what you're asking. What will be your next move then?

We have media exposure on the idea in the coming days and have the advice of of clubs who implement something similar. We will continue pushing for it regardless.

Realistic Financial position of Everton FC - dispelling the negativity

There's been a lot of criticism of this board from certain quarters, and an air of negativity amongst Everton fans in general.

However, we are where we are, irrespective of past dealings.

We have to be realistic in the context of our current financial position, which is better than Portsmouth's or West Ham.

I for one believe the board have done a marvellous job, in trying circumstances, over the last four week period. Any problems with the Park End development occurred long before this.

let this be a warning to all, Qtips can cause permanant damage when used incorrectly.

OR

this man is an idiot, just ignore him

People are entitled to their opinion, it doesn't have to be doom and gloom all the time. We have to be realistic, but we can still believe their is hope for the future

We dont have a good board, but then again I doubt we have a bad one either - for all this talk of investment, doing more for the club etc it should not be forgotten that basically achieving the highest level of success in the EPL at the moment seems to consist of who has burnt the most amount of money.

We have been steady on and off the pitch in recent times. I just think we want more for the club, it has been too long without a trophy, but i think with a productive summer Moyes can steer us in the right direction.

an opinion is one thing, to ignore ALL the wrongs done by this board is a mistake. its not all doom and gloom, but all is far from rosy, and the blame lies sqarely with this inept board. and thats being generous.

The problem with the board for many isn't that they are all evil or anything as simplistic as that but rather they don't seem to have any long term plans. They have been relatively sensible in their spending but we are still increasing debt year on year and there doesn't seem to be an answer to that from those on high. Wondering what has been particularly trying for them in the last four weeks?

That's not true. They have the same plan they've always had: increase the value of their shares by multiple amounts - through a stadium scheme they dont have to pay for - and sell up. We've been round the block twice and now they're hanging around like a bad smell for the next one to turn up.

These people aren't stupid or evil, they're just greedy tvvats. It's that simple.

We're knackered if the status quo remains. By knackered I mean treading water which we should be doing so much better than. I'd like us to have some ambition again, that was boss when we had that. Beards ago.
