"It will take Mr X only he can save us."

whether these things are leased, mortgaged or owned outright, they are still functional and meet our needs. just because your house is mortgaged doesnt mean you cant live in it.

Its a creative way to manage things if you are skint. That seems to be your issue -- that Kenwright is skint.

It's not really news is it?

Lol!

We have nothing of the kind. They're all owned and leased to Everton by other parties.

Right...so we've established Kenwright hired Moyes....back to the drawing board for those other...*coughs*...achievements.

It's semantics. I know most of these things are leased. But we still have them. Because a shop rents a property it doesn't mean its not a real shop. We have the benefits of a new training ground, shop, with more on the way. These are achievements.

Because you cannot look at these developments in a positive light its obvious you have zero intention of looking at this matter even handedly. Agenda uber alles.

The agendavek is at it again.

We need a new owner. We need to be careful getting that. We need to strive for transparency.

What we don't need is to unnecessarily demonise Kenwright.

This is getting suspiciously like a witch hunt with all its attendant hatred, mistrust, suspicion and paranoia. Not an edifying sight by any means.

How is leasing an achievement? Unreal!

So, scores on the doors: Kenwright

  • hired Moyes
  • rents places for Everton we used to own before he sold them off
It's an impressive tally alright.

<Harrumph!>

this is moyes doing, not BKs.

OK, I realise that kenwright has not used his own money to purchase players, but neither has Moyes, and while the appointment was contentious in that others believe he was not first choice, Moyes didn't exactly appoint himself. More importantly, unlike other Chairs, he left Moyes to get on with the job. Or were you expecting Kenwright to pick the team, sort out tactics and training as well?

we have a brand new store and a new state of the art training facilities. Whether we own them or not is a detail. They were still purpose built for Everton's specifications.

You'd prefer the old training ground? The old shop?

not a bad idea

Mr X any day of the week over Mr No Plan B.

*walks away pleased with himself*

You've said it louder than I ever could. I've not PM'd Neonleon et al, but we seem to be trying to find common ground. I don't think any of us are naive Kenwright is the only option. But you are so negative, you even fail to acknowledge others argument.

And now you'd believe a fantasy idea (Mr X) over realism. I sincerely hope for the sake of the world that in real life you handle nothing more dangerous than paper clips.

If I secured myself a fixed rate mortgage of 8% pa over 20 years, you'd see that as an achievement on that basis. We're going to pay over the odds for that functionality over many years.

My issue is that Kenwright is a simpleton, being skint does not explain the various cock ups, lies and shady dealings he's overseen.

Opinions are now running the gamut from incompetent simpleton to machiavellian arch villain.

6th - 8th place, no danger of administration (if the banks pulled the plug they could sell four or five players and recoup most of the debt ) and a quality manager in place. That's stasis. There are plenty of clubs spiralling down the plug hole and others ticking like time bombs like united. There are few success stories.

We are ok. Nobody is satisfied with this. We all want new owners/fresh investment. We all want transparency. Lets strive for something mutual.

Attacking the current owner is hardly helping to attract prospective buyers.

There is no Mr X?

Say it aint so.

attacking the current owner? NO, simply stating he has had long enough, and achieved very little, while other clubs used sky money to address the ground and infrastrucure, we did NOTHING. while other clubs looked forward and planned we did NOTHING.bill kenwright is not the devil incarnate, but he is also NOT the best chairman out there. he is a proven liar, he is financially incompetant, he is a liability.

simply put,
kenwright employed moyes and stood by him....but after moyes initial success added to our poor financial position, he couldnt afford to sack him.

the training ground,liverpool2,etc.....well how much are we actually making? how much are these helping strengthen the team? what financial benefits will we reap over say, five years?

against this his failures totally blow what little he has done right out the water. he has had his chance,NEXT>>>>>>>>>

So we've got Moyes because Kenwright can't afford to sack him?

Anyone else find this funny?
