one day, hopefully soon. BK will leave. we will have new owners one day. and no one can say for certain how good or bad they will be. bill can spout on all day long on what kind of person HE wants to run the club. but as other clubs have found out, there are no guarantees. its down to shareholders and supporters to address the board, question their aims and ambitions. because they are short term CUSTODIANS, we are supporters for life. football is like no other business, it runs on passion, expectations , dreams and hope. these are what keep the fans coming back every week. bill has failed on every count to raise them, ergo. goodbye bill hello....................?

simply put,
kenwright employed moyes and stood by him....but after moyes initial success added to our poor financial position, he couldnt afford to sack him.

the training ground,liverpool2,etc.....well how much are we actually making? how much are these helping strengthen the team? what financial benefits will we reap over say, five years?

against this his failures totally blow what little he has done right out the water. he has had his chance,NEXT>>>>>>>>>

Funny how he renewed his contract twice after his initial success. If he really wanted him gone he could've sacked him for nothing in these periods.

And yes having a shop in Liverpool one and a state of the art training ground can only hinder us.

www.evertoniansforchange.com/latest-news/ has the typed transcript of Elstones answers to our questions and an explanation for the scarf.

You say you sold out the first batch of amber and blue scarfs - how many was that mate, and how many more have you produced to be sold...and is it the same wording/imagery?

Elstone: “Today is absolutely about us, talking to our fans, updating you on the things that, we believe are important to you...

....What value have the club's owners placed on the club? Well, the simple truth of the matter is that, it is private and confidential...what value is a private matter and a matter for those shareholders."

yes, but after his one really bad season he has kept improving. and has managed to pay some of the debt to. why the hell would he sack him now? moyes is the only positive aspect of BKs reign. and as for the shop, ok, do we own it? and how much are we paying for the training ground? is it a realistic solution?

Then why post "he couldn't afford to sack him." It's nonsensical.

There are plenty of things we can point to, that highlight Kenwright's poor stewardship of the club without making stuff up that makes your argument look ridiculous. Stick to the facts. Fortress fund. Kirkby.

The other stuff is clutching at straws.

this from the man who cited keeping moyes and avoiding administration as positives from BK, classic

It's not specified, but it comes under 'operating costs' in the annual accounts. The club completed and owned Finch Farm in 2006 - at which point operating costs were £16M. They then sold FF to ROM Capital and leased it back from them in 2007/08. Operating costs rose dramatically from that point. Current operating costs stand at £23M.

You're of course totally right. If we lost Moyes and went into administration things would be much better.

This argument has become so asinine I'm quitting this thread. I'll find something else to argue with. A lamppost would put up a better argument than you.

we have avoided administration more due to moyes buying and selling than anything BK has done. and be careful, the lamp post is brighter than you with its light off.
