It COMES from the Top . " Let's Get Militant .. " An YOU KNOW IVE BEEN ON REAL Picket Lines DK , is just NOT the way to go . I reiterate ; No Dough , No Backers , No Plan , No Clue .. <<< ADDRESS THESE issues rather than , rather contradictingly , apply the ethos of the Street yet look to get into bed with the first Capitalist Mufuka who turns up .
I GENUINELY FEEL THIS T BE TRUE , Kid .
But yeah . I DO NOT Support Our current Chairman .
This is VERO .
Any militancy like personally targetting Kenwright is a sign of desperation and needs to be avoided. By the same token mate, you know that haranguing Bill outside the car park is small beer to what he's faced in the past from Evertonians a long, long time before the BU were even thought up. Bill was manhandled coming out of the ground once (the old Highbury?) during the fall to 17th early in the Moyes era I think. He's been screamed at when sat in various directors boxes up and down the country too. If he's being targetted now by the BU it's a less physical confrontation and one focussed on his role in standing in front of others who are pulling his strings. In reality these protests have been tame not militant: there's no call for boycotts (the reverse in fact), there's no call for blockading. They've done things by the book. There's some talk of in-stadium protests but I fail to see the militancy of that. People are sooo sensitive of any expression of passion these days it's unreal...and the propaganda department at the club will work with that sensitivity all day long to protect their employers. There's a demonisation of this group which is completely laughable. People need to get over the fact that others have the audacity to call for soemthing better. We're not serfs.
I think you're right that we have to be careful who comes in after BK. But that's been used as an excuse to keep the present lot in place for so long it's an argument that barely has traction anymore. Like it or not it's an overplayed hand that persuades nobody. I'd say we'd be really unforunate to have worse successors than this lot we have now. BK may have had a plan going forward back in the day based on a stadium move, but there's now absolutely nothing he or his cohorts have to offer us, only more effective disinvestment and more (if we're lucky) mediocrity. To all intents and purposes we're controlled by non-Evertonians in the shadows as it is, so how worse can things get? This is what the BU reflect. They're position isn't outrageous.
