The clue is in the post. I'm just passing it on. He doesn't know if its true or not. So why pass it on? Because it fits a stereotype. Its something that people would say "Yes, he'd do that, so there must have a grain of truth in it".While I accept what you say about Mick's integrity, the problem is that there is no way that this can be proved either way. He is passing on hersay from a third party.

If it is true, it may have been the whole Board who outvoted BK. Or, the information was wrong and the group actually withdrew for their own reason. I don't know. All I do know is that "I'm just passing it on" falls within the

"Have you heard the rumour about [insert name of group] who had a bid turned down / are making a bid / are interested in the club" etc. My point is, if you can't prove an allegation, think twice about posting it. It might even save GOT some legal fee's.

A forum is for debate and discussion- I had a long chat with a fella Ive been working with and thought it was interesting, thought you might too.

Football is full of hearsay say and gossip- a forum is no different. I dont see how there could be legal action (ffs) on a message posted that clearly states in what context the post was made from.

He also said that Moyes is a nice but dour chap and Yakubu has a huge ass. But we all knew this anyway....

Give the lad a break, there are others on the forum who enjoy to hear information that we are not party to in the normal day in day out of things.

Difficult one, I can quite easily believe that these posters are passing on information they've heard. I cannot believe the information because the originators are not forthcoming. Surely if anyone made a bid for a company that was agreed in principle. Then, at the 11th hour the seller doubled the asking price, the aggreived, would be buyer, would publicise the other sides duplicity.

Working away in Abu Dhabi at the moment and got chatting to a chap that worked for Everton for a number of years.

He was there 12 months ago and insisted that there was a Thai group that were introduced to Kenwright via a local business man that has a table every match day.

The idea was that there would be an initial cash injection with the view to buying the club 100%. The deal was in place and they shook on it. The Thai group had to go back to Thailand to start making arrangements- the head of the group who had been to several games had come back to the UK with paperwork in regards to the cash injection and Kenwright then said he wanted almost double what had been agreed.

The Thai group were outraged that he had gone back on his word and pulled out with immediate affect.

Now granted this is just some fella I met but he did work for the club and it is what he was told.....

Just passing it on.

So much for being the No. 1 Evertonian! If he really was what he claimed to be, then he would realise that by holding on to the club, he is doing more damage then good!
It just makes me so sick that greed is ruining our club...
All Kenwright cares about is his bank balance! I mean the guys already more rich then what any of us can compare to. He, his children and his children's children can live comfortably for the rest of their lifes! Yet he wants more... Just sell and [Poor language removed] off!
If God does exsist, and there is indeed a heaven, I really hope that it is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of needle then for a rich fat tvvat to get into heaven!

I can't stop people making such posts. I don't own the forum. I'm just trying to point out that there is a world of difference between a post claiming that a player is at Finch Farm (as someone has posted an unconfirmed claim on twitter today), and that a named individual is deliberatly harming the club with no proof. Forums are not immune from legal action.

My other point is, you wouldn't post it if you didn't believe it to be true, even if you were only "passing it on"

There are enough evidential claims against BK / the board to hang them without adding unsubstantiated stuff.

That's all I'm saying. Its a point of view not a polemic against the Kenwrongers.
