I'm waiting for a CPU game made out of this, Football Chairman 2012.
- Manage your fanbase, win them over by loose promises and hit out at them if they question your authority.
- Demand investment only from potential take overs, refuse to name a selling price from interested parties so you can remain in control.
- Hire the manager of your choice, become a master behind the scenes-puppeteer and let him take the fans' disappointment.
- Decide who goes and who comes as you counter-command your manager's transfer affairs.
- Involve yourself with shady characters and hide ownership issues from the public's eye.
- Sink the club into debt, refuse to cover operating costs and make a fortune from pocketing club money.

He who cheats, wins.

Apart from one or two typos that's a great article that will hopefully further turn the heat up on Kenwright and the rest of the Board. I do feel, however, that Kenwright is getting more than his share of flak from everybody whilst the rest of the Board (the puppetmasters) are hiding behind him and escaping almost scot-free. The heat should be turned up on the other Board members too.

I had a read of that article about the Kings Dock funds being ringfenced, and just wanted to cry. The failure of that project was probably the beginning of the decline of EFC's fortunes.

Working away in Abu Dhabi at the moment and got chatting to a chap that worked for Everton for a number of years.

He was there 12 months ago and insisted that there was a Thai group that were introduced to Kenwright via a local business man that has a table every match day.

The idea was that there would be an initial cash injection with the view to buying the club 100%. The deal was in place and they shook on it. The Thai group had to go back to Thailand to start making arrangements- the head of the group who had been to several games had come back to the UK with paperwork in regards to the cash injection and Kenwright then said he wanted almost double what had been agreed.

The Thai group were outraged that he had gone back on his word and pulled out with immediate affect.

Now granted this is just some fella I met but he did work for the club and it is what he was told.....

Just passing it on.

I can well believe it - and the other tales of how he's clung onto power in his own long term financial interests.

Is there anyone left out there now who he even believes a sentence this feller puts together?

..... and other prospective buyers that get to hear about this learn, what?..... that Kenwright is not a guy they can trust to do business with, thus reducing the number of prospective buyers.

Oh, it must be true then...............<rolls eyes in contempt at yet another story that could never be proved either way>

Your pouring scourn on the wrong bonfire.Mick is not an aplogist and nor does he say things for effect.Open your eyes, please.
dont think foxy has seen this but i think he may have been talking to the same fella as nick nick over the holiday games he was over for a break, might be wrong but he relayed a more or less the same story to me over someone he had met.

Mick is not an aplogist and nor does he say things for effect.

Open your eyes, please.

Sorry mate, but Mick isn't one just to post something for effect

The clue is in the post. I'm just passing it on. He doesn't know if its true or not. So why pass it on? Because it fits a stereotype. Its something that people would say "Yes, he'd do that, so there must have a grain of truth in it".

While I accept what you say about Mick's integrity, the problem is that there is no way that this can be proved either way. He is passing on hersay from a third party.

If it is true, it may have been the whole Board who outvoted BK. Or, the information was wrong and the group actually withdrew for their own reason. I don't know. All I do know is that "I'm just passing it on" falls within the

"Have you heard the rumour about [insert name of group] who had a bid turned down / are making a bid / are interested in the club" etc. My point is, if you can't prove an allegation, think twice about posting it. It might even save GOT some legal fee's.

I'm just waiting for the "It must be true it was on twitter"

The guy had a story and passed it on to Everton fans onto an Everton forum. He didn't say this is gospel was just relaying something interesting for us all.
