I'm trying to understand this...

The current owners rack up a bunch of debt, then expect any potential buyers to pay them enough to cover the debt and still make a profit? Is this normal? Doesn't make sense to me.

waste of time goat ,the kunt could set fire to goody park tomorrow and you will still get beauts backing him

This....

Honestly, i just dont get it...

Are people just dim like?

Lads - seriously, less of this. Getting to the end of my tether with it.

Your not better fans than me, or any Evertonian who doesn't hold Kenwright in the same regard as you two.

About Us
The humble beginnings!
GrandOldTeam began its journey on the 5th February 2007 with the intention of providing a 'sound' forum, a user-friendly place which would allow Evertonians from across the world to log on to and discuss the Toffees - and anything else for that matter!

While the aim was never to become the biggest Everton community on the net, we always took great pride in the friendly atmosphere unique to GrandOldTeam and our priority has always remained the same - to provide the very best place on the web for fans worldwide to congregate to discuss Everton Football Club.

GrandOldTeam prides itself on offering Everton fans a place for intelligent and respectful debate about the issues that matter to them, offering a feature-rich, intelligent and moderated forum for our readers to share their own personal views on all things Everton FC related.

Fans readily abusing other Evertonians for their opinion don't have a place on here - you both know that.

"Oh, er, yeah sorry...." an the next day calling Evertonians out wont wash anymore.

And don't get me started on the language filter... it's there for a reason.

£150m..

For a business that is losing £5 million per year. With revenues mortgaged for two years into the future. With no assets save the depreciating value of an ageing squad. With a delapidated stadium that offers no scope for revenue uplift.

If you didn't know before, now you do - that is a totally unrealistic price

People arguing because he wants a profit? So what?

I love Everton, but to be honest, if i won the euromillions and got £200 million, i wouldnt buy Everton or invest in them, why should i? Yeah i love them, but at the end of the day its my money and i want it.

Kenwright should be applauded for even buying the club in the first place, if he wants to make a profit then fine, a higher asking price is good anyway, because if it was low, dont you think he would have hundreds of offers, just looking to buy low and sell high like any other good investor? Any investor in the property market? You want someone who buys the club at its value, and wants to take it on to better things

Oh and you also have to take into account how money has changed over the years...eg: If i invested £10 and 10 years later i made £30, well, ive basically lost money there...

What an absolute load of K poppycock that is ,whats you winning the lottery got to do with a man buying a club he claims he loves as much as any other fan , stripping the club of everything the club owns , mortgaging the club up to F##K , failing with near enough everything he set out to achieve and then hold the club back by totally over pricing the club to other investors .

This is a football club FFS not just any business , that working class people graft their plumbs of all week to be able to watch their team play the weekend , he shouldn't claim to be a fanatic then watch the club suffer the way it is now while every club is over taking us , there's an article going round at the minute about Bill Kenwright the Loyal Evertonian who supposedly wants 150 million for his shares and then a genuine fanatic called Sir Jack Haywood who gave Wolves away for a £1, and the things the both chairman achieved for the respective clubs , you could do a lot worse than read it fella , and if I won that money you talked about I would invest in Everton as long as that Joker Bill Kenwright was nowhere to be seen.

Moral of the story > don't claim to be Everton's number one fan for 15 years when really everyone knows he's more interested in lining his pockets becoming richer while watching his club suffer, fighting relegation battles and asking ludricous prices for the club people are never going to pay , I detest the man and have seen through them big daft glasses he wears for years

Genuine question though, is it Kenwright wanting to maximise his profits or is it the rest of them? My money (irony) is on the rest of them.

Has anyone considered that it might not be Bill Kenwright, and Bill Kenwright alone who dictates the price of the football club?

Can anyone advise the share split of the Club?

The shares of EFC have a nominal price of £1. Only the greedy tvvats who've come along in the post Moores era have expected a share to represent about a grand a throw.

I'd give Kenwright and his gang **** all.

He isn't even the majority shareholder. This is what I am saying, Kenwright this, Kenwright that, it isn't just him (if him at all) who is trying to make a profit.
