Genuine question though, is it Kenwright wanting to maximise his profits or is it the rest of them? My money (irony) is on the rest of them.

It's Kenwright and the rest of them. Handlebars Bill has been scrabbling around over the last year or two buying up extra shares, increasing his holding. not the act of someone who's ready to sell without significant profit.

<it's been difficult typing this btw, never easy criticisng a saviour, saint, omnipotent supreme being like Bill, I can see why lot's of excellent Evertonians struggle with that>

My mistake but only marginally.

W Kenwright CBE (Chairman) 9,044 25.84% Significant Interest
J V Woods (Deputy Chairman) 6,622 18.92% Significant Interest
R I Earl 8,146 23.27% Significant Interest
Other Shareholders 11,188 31.97%
Total 35,000 100%
hey sil wasnt trying to be funny mate i know you no your stuff ,they were bought by earl in kenwrights name ,on paper hes the number 1 shareholder ,but the no1 is really earl .90 per cent of his shares were bought with earls money FACT

Thanks for that mate. What happens when you add up Woods/Earl?...

Makes me wonder why people repeatedly aim for the top of a house of cards.

Worked for Liverpool.

All that peer pressure on H&G made them walk.

Oh wait....

(y)

There are other ways.

Ive lost hope of ever getting rid of "them", but in Woods and Earls defence, im fairly sure we knew from 1 day what interest they had in the Club, a means of making a return on an investment.

If Kenwrong had made his feelings clear from Day 1, it wouldnt be a problem, but he starts feeding us his bs about "wanting the best for Everton" "sitting in the Boys Pen", making out hes some sort of Super Blue, when in reality hes a clueless utter bellringer, only in it for the prestige and now it would appear to make a fast buck.

In my eyes, hes never done anything in the best interests of Everton, hes a stain on the history of our Club and I hope hes happy what hes done to my Club.

Fair enough. One of the other troika of large shareholders, Jon Woods: made a big deal about being a Great, Great Nephew of one of the club's founding fathers James Clement Baxter about a year back. Baxter was a real gent: gave the club a grand toward its costs of about 8 grand to build Goodison in 1892. Served as club doctor (he was a physician), committee-man, chairman and director for 38 years until he died. Made zero (like the rest of them back then) out of the club.

Think we'll see Woods refuse his millions in profit when/if we're bought? No chance.

This board have shamelessly traded on their uber-Evertonian status. Well let's see them back it up and do what's best for it instead of holding out for a big gold clock and a Swiiss bank account.

No worries mate, I wasn't thinking you were. Kind of agreeing with each other I think in that Kenwright might on paper look like the man but there is far more too it than that.

nell i like you mate ,but talk about having a laugh mate ,got to watch what i say on the matter, ill leave it with NSNO not relagation battle

As do i mate, but its all right to have different opinions once its about the topic at hand, im all for change, but dont necessarily beleive there is a systemic will of the board or Bill to harm Everton, i think this is where the majority of Everonians lie to be honest and would say the majority on here, the silent majority, who are bascily board or worn down by the guff.

Danny said it best earlier for me and it stands for all viewpoints and posters for me be it for: for, against or middle:
