Someone earlier made a fine point about why people are reluctant to hold their hands up and say they got it wrong. Here's a fine example of why people can't change their mind. It can and will be used against you.

But I could be wrong....but I'm willing to change my mind about the whole thing...but then if I do, I'll hold my hands up....but what if it is.....forget what I was saying now ?
