I don’t trust the public come election time. We are country packed with vermin who still love Johnson. I hear it all the time still.
Exactly my concern mate, we need tactical voting from labour and Lib Dem voters in all marginals to get shut of this shower as I cannot trust the gammons in this country to do the right thing - the Tory vote will mobilise for a general election, they always have, they always will.

Doesn't really change much. Johnson isn't going to be leader at the next election. The tories are just waiting for the right time to move him on.

Although, a stronger Lib Dem helps Labour a lot. It means they can win lots of seats with less votes, and have a good chance of being the largest party in a hung parliament.

They'll probably have to coalition the Tories out of power at this stage

Just hope the Lib Dems don't go with the Tories again in that situation

Get into power and force through proportional representation to seriously undercut the Tories for generations to come

That should be the battle plan

Lib Dems getting up towards say 60 seats wouldn't be a bad thing.

Hopefully this is the beginning of the end for the current cabinet. Who comes next after Johnson? Truss? Sunak? Patel? All completely useless.

Don't underestimate the Red Wall areas, they voted Tory just for Brexit choice. I expect majority to spring back now, even without Boris being a complete Tory [Poor language removed]
Brexit will be a minor player next time come autumn and for the foreseeable future the cost of living will really hit home.
People will be more focused on there mortgage payments rising food prices ect and nothing on the horizon to say the cavalry is coming over the hill to save them from It.
Only hope for the tories is a fresh face and a change of direction.
The do have a ruthless streak about them so think they will go that way in the end.

Never thought I would think this but they have been playing a blinder the last few months.
Some of the people they have had on news programmes ect have been excellent.
