Any chance flights out of Rwanda can be cancelled?
Let the dullard smuggle himself to wherever he believes he fits. Sooner him and his ilk are history the sooner good people can prosper. And it's a shame May didn't unveil the statue at Waterloo. Inbred racist slag.

Tactical vote them out of power next election and then bring in PR to ensure they never get a majority again
Is there a universe where Labour votes for this? It would seem to me that most of their MPs are advantaged by first-past-the-post. Asking at least a third of them to fall on their swords for the good of the realm probably isn't realistic.

Those still supporting Johnson really feels like those who supported Benitez till the end. They nailed their colours to the mast and, instead of admitting they were wrong, they doubled down on it.

The inability to 'hold your hands up" and say that you got it wrong is a big flaw.
I've been thinking about this with Brexit, Trump and the tories in this country, why people are so dogmatic. Yes, there's the jingo-morons, the racists and the grifters that prey on both, they're beyond hope largely, but there are plenty in govt., business and the wider public who will fully understand the damage these doomed strategies and policies are inflicting. I think the problem for these people is, they think, as soon as you put your hands up and say 'yep, I was wrong', it will call into question every decision you've made, and will make, whereas for most rational actors we know the opposite is the case, but its not an unreasonable fear.

Was down on my list when Labour party touted member's couple month back for ideas going forward.

Excellent point…

They'll probably have to coalition the Tories out of power at this stage

Just hope the Lib Dems don't go with the Tories again in that situation

Get into power and force through proportional representation to seriously undercut the Tories for generations to come

That should be the battle plan

I'm actually not a fan of PR, and like that fact FPTP is simple for voters to understand, and generally leads to majority governments. FPTP also makes it much easier for voters to vote a party out of government. You just have to be practical and pick the person with the most chance of beating the incumbent. Like we saw last night.

There's absolutely no reason Labour shouldn't be able to beat a weak and unpopular government under this system, but the issue is Scotland. Labour always relied on 40 or 50 seats there, and they are probably looking at 10 on a very good night now.

FPTP leads to a majority government and allows it to operate in a dictatorial manner.
Present gov revels in it.
Not really democratic in outcome.
Time to change.

I don't get the undemocratic argument. The person with most votes wins. It's simple and pretty much what democracy is about.

If people want to remove the government then it's pretty easy to do so if you are smart with your vote. The tories won't be getting 50% in many constituencies and won't get over 35% in a lot of the seats they currently hold.
