So there's plenty of infrastructure and resources? We're not poisoning our rivers and coasts with sewage?

It's not really worth continuing further if you believe that we can increase the population indefinitely without investing with no possible negative outcomes. In reality, not abstractly.

Our rivers and coasts are cleaner than they've ever been. I'm not sure how you can link any recent deterioration to immigration.

What does the fact that water companies are pumping sewage into rivers have to do with population? Were Bhopal or Chernobyl because India and Ukraine had too many people? Incidentally, most demographers believe that global population will peak around 2100 as birth rates are rapidly falling around the world, and in most Western countries populations will be declining long before then, as they are already in the likes of Russia, Bulgaria, the Baltics, Greece, Italy...

What happens to tax revenues as populations age

I wonder if we're also going to get all of the enormous improvements to things like health, sanitation, life expectancy, and so on attributed to rising populations?

Christ, it's only because the water companies can't/won't process the quantities of sewage being produced.

It's on people who vote Tory to explain this. The old ''To keep Labour out'' waffle isn't going to cut it anymore when after 12 years of Tory rule immigration is 5x (!) higher than what is was under Tony [Poor language removed] Blair.

They imported a city the size of Liverpool in a single year, and that's only the ones we know about.
What's the population that left?

I'm sure I saw a figure that suggested the ex-pat community was around 1m with that mostly in the 65+ age range.

If we replace that population with foreign nationals who are capable and willing to work, is that not a positive thing?

It's well documented that immigrants generate more in taxes than they consume.

It's widely mistaken that immigrants generate more in taxes than they consume, you probably still repeat the Cheddar man myth.

and when the economic benefit of migrants is refuted you quickly jump on it being morally right.

multiculturalism is a failed experiment in every conceivable measurement.

getting your world outlook from a Stewart Lee bit isn't high principled.

Yes, it's almost like creating a hostile environment and doing what you can to discourage integration makes it harder for people. Who would have thought?

What do you mean by multiculturalism?
