It's on people who vote Tory to explain this. The old ''To keep Labour out'' waffle isn't going to cut it anymore when after 12 years of Tory rule immigration is 5x (!) higher than what is was under Tony [Poor language removed] Blair.

They imported a city the size of Liverpool in a single year, and that's only the ones we know about.
You utter scum.

Just say you hate foreigners, this is taking forever.

Tbf hating forens and being concerned that the UK population unsustainably consumes over 3x the resources that it's capable of producing itself, or that immigration should necessarily be partnered with investment in infrastructure are different notions.

None of which were points raised in that post or the pocket fascist he quoted from Twitter.

All of the things raised by flag pointing man have been issues for as long as I've been an adult. They are a feature, not a bug, of a Tory economy.

It's well documented that immigrants generate more in taxes than they consume. This is especially so as the overwhelming majority of immigrants are students or people with work visas.

So why are we targeting them again?

I'm not targeting anyone. What's more, I didn't imply or state that those that come here 'scrounge'.

I can understand why you're so defensive and emotive about this, and that it is a topic that tends to attract some nasty tossers, but the facts remain - we are densely populated and consume far more than our resources provide and successive governments have failed to ensure that essential infrastructure increases with the population.

And yet its the most densely populated parts of the country that are most comfortable with foreigners and those least densely populated that are not. It's almost like the myths are not aligned with the reality.

And incidentally, it's not emotion that underpins my argument but every single study looking at the matter. It's those who oppose immigration that are generally unable to provide any evidence (and heaven knows the Melthusian argument has none to support it)

they can't accept it when you explain the environmental impact, goes against their programming and holding contradictory opinions.

The Green Party squirm when they're confronted.

The Serria Club famously wanted to reduce mass immigration in America and argued overpopulation was a significant factor in the degradation of the environment. In the mid 90's this position was was abandoned after a hostile takeover, $200 million in contributions by one donor and most of it's members leaving in protest on the issue.

Because you're talking utter bobbins. The United States is the 185th most densely populated country in the world, yet their carbon footprint is far and away from everyone else's. What's more, in pretty much every western nation, the birth rate is significantly below the replacement rate, which prompts many of your fellow right wing nut jobs to complain about the "great replacement".

You didn't watch what I posted, too quick on the reply button aren't you. Driven by emotion to post an immediate rebuttal without hearing opposing views.

The many many many crimes of this disgusting government and lukes complaint is they aren't racist enough

So there's plenty of infrastructure and resources? We're not poisoning our rivers and coasts with sewage?

It's not really worth continuing further if you believe that we can increase the population indefinitely without investing with no possible negative outcomes. In reality, not abstractly.
