Amazing really that Pete still frames the man who has the highest office in the country, has had every available privilege possible and has the media effectively running PR for him as a victim.

Simultaneously the single most effective leader on the world stage and supremo political operator, but also someone bullied by the state owned broadcaster, civil servants, opposition parties and capable of being surprised, on multi occasions, by parties in his own house.

I think you are all confusing what the Civil Servants in no. 10 did and what Boris did…..

Boris is one man, he has a head of the CS, he has Cabinet Ministers who have permanent secretaries, they have ministers and various heads of departments and they run a further 5 or 600,000 civil servants. The ’parties’ appear to have been organised, run by and attended by civil servants, Boris was invited to say a few words at one or two of them, he also attended the ludicrously entitled birthday party with orange juice. Whether you like it or not, he brought us through Covid, his financial support to individuals and businesses was a godsend, he is regarded as a hero in Ukraine and he will sort out the economy. You give him no praise for his success but criticise for the dullest birthday party on the planet…maybe, just perhaps, all the haters on here admit that it’s about the fact that Labour are led by an imbecile with no chance of electoral success …..

Johnson is far worse than Thatcher.

I may not agree with all of her policies and decisions but she was a strong leader who I felt wanted the best for her country and had a vision for this.

Johnson is just an exercise in self gratification and advancement who's happy for him and his friends to grow rich while the country burns.
