People will support it because they hate immigrants as they have been drip fed for the last decade that everything all our ills is their fault, especially the kind of immigrants attempting to cross the channel.

This is anecdotal, however the responses I've read among Tory voter is one of ecstatic nature.

For them, this is the best news in years. They don't simply approve of this policy, they love it. Boris could only make them happier by machine-gunning dinghies.

This policy will end in total national and international embarrassment and if fully implemented will cost tax payers £billions. Just as it has in Australia and Israel. But in unique UK case made few mates very rich off the back of it.

It’s the lazy YouTube academics.

I remember once arguing with Holliday *spit* and suggested a book by a well renowned academic and he suggested a 5 min YouTube video. Then you get comments like ‘all opinions are valid’ when some people have actually had to work hard to come to an informed opinion and understand critical analysis whilst others think that their opinion on complex topics holds equal value after watching a few tic tocs.
