Nope, not in 2016 it wasnt. Virtually the first thing in the article below makes reference to Britain First.

When the murderer yells those words at the top of his lungs then it's probably relevant to report on it.

They’ve put the picture of the Mair, his political leanings, his alleged language prior to the murder all within a few hours of her death.

the incident today is a virtual wall of silence. No political motivation has been disclosed either.

No they didn't. Again, Mair's name (and photo) had not been officially confirmed by the authorities then, and that article says nothing about his political leanings.

All it says is that he was alleged to have shouted "Britain first" and that the police were going to look into the motivation of the attack.

edit: as for "a virtual wall of silence" - do you not read the news, watch it or even read this thread?

What if they were Hitler or Stalin?

Paris, mate, we are not living in them times.

Your analogy is not valid.

I despise both Fascism and Communism

This guy was a Conservative politician, not a mass murdering dictator.

it should be pointed out of course that what Mair actually said was:

“Britain first, keep Britain independent, Britain will always come first.”

Finally, he yelled: “This is for Britain.”

... so the initial report from the Guardian was a bit on the wrong track, though understandable only a few hours after the incident

Itv said he was a foreign National and said it’s being investigated as an act of terror.

I think thats enough of your nonsense for one evening. im sure you'll reply to this, in order to get in the the last word though.

......well, yes, apart from the wall to wall news coverage. No political motivation disclosed as maybe the murderer didn’t shout a slogan for others to hear as he carried out his murder in this case.
What exactly is your point here. If you have one, be brave enough to say it.

I've said all I need to say. If people think that the coverage level is the same with Cox as it is with Amess thats up to them, I dont agree and I am not going to engage any further.
