Lazy chancer pretty much sums him up. He looks spent force already...no chance he lasts 4 more years. He couldn't be bothered.I just think it gives him a pretty convenient excuse. (Could cite Covid side effects as well)
He could still sit as an MP, (£40k pay cut, give or take), and/or pick up his Telegraph columns again. (£600k, give or take).
He has never really shown a desire to do anything longterm. I dont think he is that arsed about politics once he has got to PM, he isnt some idealist or campaigner, and isnt turned on by being a public servant.
Being Mayor of London turned him on, cos he didnt have to actually do much. And no one noticed anyrate. If the Olympics hadnt rocked up, I doubt he would have bothered with that neither.
It's like the class clown who gets to be teacher for a lesson... It's interesting for a while but both clown and audience start to realise the incompatibility.
