It’s been mentioned before here but is worth repeating that a lot of the clique around Johnson are believers in eugenics, despite it being absolute junk science.

I don't agree with the government manipulating the population through eugenics (even though most governments around the world already do), but eugenics isn't junk. If you accept that evolution is real, and accept that evolutionary pressures can be placed on populations by governments or any other powerful organisation, then you have to accept that eugenics is very real and very possible.

To be fair, and not that I agree with stockpiling, but a lot of the british public appear to be ignoring the 'business as usual' line from the government.

Fancied waffles for breakfast so I nipped out, some aisles looked as if they had been borrowed from the walking dead set. Flour soup, pasta, tinned tomato, nappies,toilet paper, cereal and cleaning products, gone if not more or less.

I have some kale, a small lump of mature cheddar, half a thai curry and steamed rice and a packet of beef space raiders.
