Julian Smith sacked as NI secretary, despite getting Stormont up and running again, and achieving reproductive rights and marriage equality in NI. Best NIS we've had under this Tory regime. He was making a decent fist of it. Shows where Johnson's priorities lie. Revenge, and little else.
Hopefully the scruffy twit has shot himself in the foot there. As a former chief whip, I'd imagine Smith is pretty well-connected, and he also has a reputation for getting things done. Not someone you'd want to make an enemy of. If you were a Tory MP, that is.
