Yea, i'm in complete agreement, just that thereare two substantial reasons, not just his mate.
Williamson maintains his innocence, if this is correct then culprit is still at large.

Let me guess two substantial reason are that Corbyn and Abbott are now his handler's, it's bound to be in the Times and then BBC.

This County Isn’t Voting Today Because They Don’t Have Enough Money To Run Elections
Crisis-hit Northampton County council is desperately trying to make savings after years of overspending, so district and borough council elections are off.

They are not. It is a disgrace that Gordon Brown trashed our own telecoms companies with his 3G licenses grab and allowed a Chinese company to infiltrate a strategic asset.

It doesn’t matter how clever people think they are, back door openings within software or firmware can always be put in place and we are vulnerable by their participation. The Defence Secretary was a prat and not up to the job, but if it was him who leaked this then perhaps it was for the right reason, even though I abhor breaches of confidentiality.

I’d like to see him come out and say that it is a national disgrace that the U.K. can no longer build its own telecommunications networks.......
It’s all about the wonga. I worked for an ISP a while back and one of our main targets was to unbundle at the local loop. That means installing our own hardware in BT exchanges to offer broadband and voice Services to residential customers.

We put the tenders out for the platforms and the installation and support. One of the vendors we looked at were HUAWEI.

They blew all the other competitors away on cost and technical innovation/features, however they did not have a scooby about how to operate and work within public BT exchanges and that worried the hell out of us.

We also had concerns way back then on their software and security.

In a nutshell we went with Marconi in the end but it was a close decision. I can see the concerns but also see the other side of the decision (cost).

It’s difficult

Indeed. But with telecoms price is not the be all and end all. I’m sure the Russians would do it for free. Security of telecoms is as important as defence. When or if the lights go off, telecoms needs a secure network and not one controlled from China.....

Boris Johnson tweeted yesterday that he had just voted Conservative in his local election and urged readers to go out and do the same.

He then deleted the tweet shortly after when it was pointed out that there were no local elections where he lived.

It appears that lying and breathing are the same to Boris.

"The Sunday Times has been passed a National Security Council document showing that Williamson was also determined to send British troops into action in Africa. He ordered military chiefs to draw up plans for intervention by the armed forces in at least five African countries, including Zimbabwe, Nigeria, Kenya and Egypt."

Round II, if it's true?

Contingency plans are always being drawn up...not sure what point you are making.....
