They’re a bad bunch, I just think he might be a safe choice the MPs nominate for the final ballot. Saying that, he’s not a Brexiteer and you have to think a Brexiteer will ultimately win.

Who would want this vile piece of humanity as leader? With the equally incompetent Duncan - Smith, she imposed austerity through sanctions on that section of the public who needed help most, in their reign at the dwp. Party of the working class?.....deluded beyond belief.....kopite like

Of course they are; if you deal with the poison from those times then the rationale for voting for DUP (or for SF) will gradually go away.

A genuine truth and reconciliation process that didn't jail people provided they said what they had actually done (on all sides) is something that should have happened years ago, and it could still happen now.

There is zero chance of a South Africa style reconciliation process and the amnesty proposed by the Tories will re-open a lot of wounds.

I disagree; giving the OTRs get out of jail free cards legitimized this and so its only a proper process that can fix it.

Republicans have long called for a Truth Commission safe in the knowledge than Britain cannot and will not agree to it.

I do agree with your sentiment though that it would have helped to bed in the progress already made.
