To have shat the bed once in a week, Mr Sunak may be regarded as a misfortune; to do it twice looks like carelessness.
He’s going to be a car crash in an election campaign. Genuinely don’t think he’d pass the Turing test. Can’t think on his feet, makes constant blunders when faced with dealing with voters on the street. They were going to get blatted anyway but once he has to speak regularly and gets challenged when more people are paying attention he is screwed. To have shat the bed once in a week, Mr Sunak may be regarded as a misfortune; to do it twice looks like carelessness.
Don't think he's arsed mate. He’s going to be a car crash in an election campaign. Genuinely don’t think he’d pass the Turing test. I think he is. He’s already got generational wealth thanks to his wife so milking it after that fact doesn’t matter to him. This is his thing and he’s terrible at it.Don't think he's arsed mate.
The worst part is people will probably agree/back him for him 'daring to say it'
He's in the history books, he wanted the India trade deal - that's not gonna happen but even an MoU is likely to sky rocket the shares he has in Infosys.I think he is. It’s all intentional. You think Tory failings on housing, healthcare and the economy are going to be in the papers and on the news for the next few weeks? To have shat the bed once in a week, Mr Sunak may be regarded as a misfortune; to do it twice looks like carelessness.
They're barely covered anywayIt’s all intentional. You think Tory failings on housing, healthcare and the economy are going to be in the papers and on the news for the next few weeks?
Sunak couldn’t do any worse if @Mr. White was his speech writer
That only works if he'd committed to it, he's spent the remainder of the day debating about if he should apologise or not and making excuses about 'not hearing what Starmer said' about her mother being at Parliament. The worst part is people will probably agree/back him for him 'daring to say it'
He didn't need to say anything. Part of the furore is because of how unnecessary and asanine the 'joke' was, coupled with the insensitivity it's shown.Don't tag me in this! I don't recall ever showing any support for Sunak, whatsoever. Indeed, I have criticized him for being a back-stabbing snake!
That said, it's a subject that will never enjoy 100% support one way or another. So, for a politician, best to play the odds...
He didn't actually say anything wrong though, and I'm sure Brianna's mother understands it's a difficult topic.
Sunak shouldn't be emotionally guilt tripped into saying something that he, and the majority of society doesn't agree with.
Her Father is rightly appalled at him, her Mother met with Starmer. I doubt they are very understanding of sunaks culture war jibes after what their daughter endured.Don't tag me in this!
